This site is a regional on-line sailing community. We are dedicated to promoting and serving the sport of sailing. By advertising with us your companies advertising will be viewed by thousands of potential customers who are actively involved in the sport in your area.

We have many different advertising programs that can be tailored to you specific needs. Below we have outlined some of the features of our main advertising programs

• Site Sponsors
  Besides helping to promote the sport of sailing, this provides you with a 200 pixels wide by 20 pixels high banner button on the home page. You get front page exposure for your company plus if you do not have a web site we will build you one FREE. This for only $100/month minimum one year contract.
• Static Banner Advertising
  You can purchase a specific size ad on a specific location and page. These ads are sold for specific periods of time with a three month minimum. This works the same way you would purchase an ad in a magazine. They range in price depending on the page and location on the page. The also vary in size depending on the location on the page. Static banners ads come in two sizes. At the top of the page we have the 468 X 60 ad which costs $150.00 per month on the Marine Business Index. We also have static ads that are 120 X 200 which run vertically along the the sides of the all pages. These ads cost $300/month on the home page and $100/month in any other page.
• Rotating Banner Advertising
  These rotating ads appear at the top of the main content pages. They rotate with other ads of the same size at the same location. These ads are sold by the page view and not by the month. We have tracking software that tracks each time that the ad is displayed and each time someone clicks on the ad to go to your web site. This is more typical of web advertising. In a real sense you get what you pay for and you have a good sense of the effectiveness. The rotating banner ads are sold for $100 for 4000 page views This is the equivalent of 2.5 cents per ad view, much less expensive than print advertising.
• Marine Business Index Advertising
  The Marine business index is essentially the equivalent of the "Yellow Pages" for marine businesses. Like the yellow pages we have many options for advertising. We have the banner at the top of the page which is 468 X 60 in size and the banner on the side of the page which is 120 X 200. We also have featured Business listing and Interactive listings.
