Just a quick look at the audience yesterday indicated that most sailors attending the seminar will not be doing the race. So it seems that there is alot of interest in the seminar topics from the broader community of sailors who won't be undertaking the Transpac. This is good.

Why not capitalize on this by advertising the seminars more broadly and posting some of the materials (like Rob's excellent Computer Based Charting for the SSS Transpac) on the SSS website so more sailors can get up to speed? Even getting the seminar schedule and topic list on the SSS website would be beneficial.
