I'm interested in sailing from SF to Half Moon Bay. I've been sailing the SF Bay for the past 3 years and I'm finally starting to prepare a nice overnighter to HMB.

I've plotted it out and its roughly 30nm.

Has anyone made the trip out there before? If so, can you give me an estimate for the trip time.

I'm planning on riding the early morning Ebb out and catching the evening flood back. I know there are a lot of variables but I'd like to get a ballpark time off previous experiences.

Any other tips about the trip you're willing to provide would also be greatly appreciated.
